Ego is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant brand with 31 sites across the UK, offering guests vibrant food, warm hospitality and a place to celebrate everyday moments as well as special occasions.
At the start of 2025, Ego approached us as they prepared for national expansion. The challenge was to breathe new life into the brand with a creative platform and visual world that could unify the estate, strengthen customer connection and set the foundations for growth.
We identified a new brand world and customer-facing proposition rooted in the joy of Mediterranean dining – food that is fresh, vibrant and social, served with warmth and authenticity. This was anchored by a new strapline, Let’s Eat, a simple call to action that embodies Ego’s passion for good mood food and shared occasions.
To bring this to life, we developed a full creative system: a refined but welcoming tone of voice; a bold, mood-boosting colour palette; modern, confident typography paired with freehand script; rustic ingredient-led illustrations; and natural, uplifting photography that captured both abundant plates and the people enjoying them.
Since the beginning of 2025, this new identity has been rolled out consistently across all brand touchpoints, including menus, POS, digital, social and in-venue communications. The result is a distinctive, cohesive brand world that positions Ego strongly for its next chapter of growth.
