brand strategy, rebrand and activation

Back Then is a clever app designed to help families save, sort and share their kids’ memories, without relying on big tech or battling phone storage. We were brought in to reimagine the brand from the ground up and drive a standout launch.

With low awareness but massive potential, we needed to define a clear proposition, create a distinct visual identity, and deliver a campaign that would connect with modern parents in a noisy digital space.

What We Did:
Brand Strategy: Defined Back Then as “the safe space to save and share your kids’ story”, with messaging centred around three simple actions: Save, Sort, Share

Visual Identity: Introduced a warm, friendly design system with bold illustration, playful type and a fresh colour palette to match the joyful, real-life moments families want to capture

Launch Campaign: Delivered a suite of creative assets across paid and organic social, targeting expectant parents, families with young kids and grandparents. Influencer partnerships and tactical content helped build trust and drive downloads

The Impact:
A vibrant brand with clarity and confidence. An always-on content strategy. And a launch campaign that turned curious parents into loyal users
